Influences of race, class, ethnicity, and sexual orientation on illness and treatment of women. Politics of contraception, sterilization, abortion, and childbirth. Self-help care movement. This course is the same as Health and Nutrition Sciences 34. Prerequisite: Women's Studies 10.7 or 10.8 or 12; Health and Nutrition Sciences 6.1; or permission of the coordinator.
