3 hours; 3 credits Examines psychological deficits that result from brain damage, including head injury, stroke, and degenerative disease; includes assessment techniques and recovery mechanisms. Overview and experimental approaches to studying neuroanatomy and localization of function. Includes participation in the evaluation of a simulated neurological case. Prerequisite: Psychology 1 or 1.1 or Biology 24.1 or 31 or 34 or Health and Nutrition Sciences 22.71 or Physical Education 22.71.
