3 hours; 3 credits Contributions of psychology to the promotion and maintenance of health; prevention and treatment of illness; causes and correlates of health, illness, and related dysfunctions. Evaluations of research about psychological contributions to health. (This course is the same as Health and Nutrition Sciences 30.) Prerequisite: Psychology 1.1 and at least one of the following: Psychology 10, 30.2, or 65.1. Students who have completed Health and Nutrition Sciences 6.1 may enroll with permission of the chairperson of the Department of Psychology.
