9 hours fieldwork; 3 credits A minimum of nine hours per week of supervised fieldwork in an approved professional international institution that is concerned with Italian cultural activities, diplomacy, trade, or banking. Scheduled conferences. Critical report written in Italian on the semester's experience. (Not open to students who have taken Italian 8.) Prerequisite: Italian 4 or permission of the chairperson.
