4 hours; 4 credits Contemporary economic analysis of the operation of the United States economy. Role of markets and the determination of the overall level of economic activity. Dynamic process of growth, inflation, and international trade. (This course is the same as Business 10.1.) Prerequisite: a score of 32 or higher on the CUNY Mathematics Skills Assessment Test or a grade of C or higher in Core Curriculum 3.11 or Core Studies 5 or 5.2, or passing Mathematics 2.9 or higher.
