Techniques of fieldwork and analysis; ethnographic recording, participant observation, and focused interviewing. Analysis of information collected. Writing-intensive section. (Not open to students who have completed Anthropology and Archaeology 70.3, 71, or 71.3.) Prerequisite: Anthropology 1, and 2.2 or 2.3 or 2.4; or permission of the chairperson; English 2.
