3 hours; 3 credits Basic techniques of marketing research, including research design, use of primary and secondary data, questionnaire construction, sample selection, data collection and analysis, report writing, and applications of research to the solution of marketing problems. A group research project involving data collection and analysis is required.Writing-intensive course. (Not open to students who have completed Economics 80.4.) Prerequisite: English 2 Prerequisite or corequisite: Business 30.2 or Economics 30.2, or Mathematics 8.1 or 51.1; and Business 50.2; and senior standing.
