Such writers as Richard Wright, Ralph Ellison, Gwendolyn Brooks, Robert Hayden, James Baldwin, Amiri Baraka, Audre Lorde, Alice Walker,Toni Morrison. This course is the same as English 64.3. Prerequisite: English 1 or 1.7.
