The course focuses on the history and development of various conflicts generated between rival nation-states, especially Israel and the Arab countries. (This course is identical to HIS 3086. Students will receive credit for either POL 3086 or HIS 3086, not both.) Prerequisite: ENG 2150 or equivalent.
