3 hours; 3 credits This course is the capstone course of marketing management. The development of a new product marketing proposal and the analyses of selected case studies require the student to exercise strategic marketing judgment based on a synthesis of material acquired in previous marketing courses and in allied fields of undergraduate study. Topics include product life cycle strategies; product policy and development; analyses of marketing opportunities; new product search; sales forecasting; financial feasibility analysis; marketing, pricing, distribution, and promotional strategy; marketing information systems; and the design of a marketing plan. Prerequisites: MKT 3000 and senior status; pre- or corequisites: MKT 3600 and 3605.
