3 hours; 3 credits This course covers concepts and applications of corporate finance in an international context, with specific emphasis on the international financial decisions of multinational corporations (MNCs). It examines different types of foreignexchange risk exposure, as well as methods of managing such risks. It covers the reasons for foreign direct investments (FDI), evaluation of the climate for FDI, and estimation of cash flows. It analyzes the implications of inflation and currency fluctuations on all aspects of the international operations of MNCs. Prerequisites: FIN 3610, FIN 3710, and ECO 4000, and a minimum 2.0 GPA (C average) in FIN 3610, FIN 3710, and ECO 4000.
