It analyzes the on-camera image of women and their behind-the-camera contributions as directors, producers, screenwriters, and editors. It emphasizes how dominant stereotypes of women have changed and how women film - makers have presented alternative points of view. Written analyses focus on these topics. Prerequisite: ENG 2150 or permission of the instructor.
