4 hours; 4 credits Intended for accounting majors specializing in financial statement analysis and valuation, the course develops an understanding of the advanced topics in financial accounting and reporting such as business combinations, foreign currency transactions, foreign currency translations, segment reporting, governmental and not-for-profit accounting, and international accounting. The emphasis is on these advanced topics and how they impact the firms' financial statements. Prerequisite: ACC 4307.
