3 hours; 3 credits This course explores principles and methods of designing for the Internet, from content creation through production. The historical development of the Internet and web design, contemporary practices, theoretical issues, and the relationship between web design and other forms of graphic communication will be addressed in the course. Aesthetic and technical issues will be investigated via lectures, demonstrations, readings, and assignments. Prerequisite: ART 2050 or 2056 or departmental permission.
