4 hours; 3 credits This course examines current standards and practices in print production for graphic communication. Through the emphasis on design as a problem-solving discipline, students will research and explore the various techniques needed to realize their creative concepts and prepare them for printing in a cost-efficient manner. New developments in computeraided design will be emphasized. Students will develop portfolio pieces. Prerequisite: ART 2050 or permission of the instructor.
