Systematic study of symbolic logic beginning with truthfunctional analysis and proceeding through the two most prevalent formal languages, sentential and predicate calculus. Direct, indirect, and conditional methods of derivation are covered, as are techniques for converting natural language into logical symbols. Mathematical induction is covered if time permits. (TBA)
