4 hours; 3 credits This course investigates the relationship of film and set design with painting, sculpture, and still photography by exploring the works of directors who formally studied art, films made by artists, and films about artists. Prerequisites: ART 1011 or 1012 and ENG 2100 or permission of the instructor. One of the following is strongly recommended: FLM 2001, FLM 2002, or ENG 2450.
