Examines the theoretical principles that govern international trade andexplores the empirical evidence of patterns in world trade and the trade policies of industrial, developing, andemerging economies. A focal point of discussion is the role of the United States in the international tradingsystem. The course complements many of the topics discussed in International Finance and InternationalBusiness courses.
