Edwalds-Gilbert, Karpel This half course is an introduction to the primary experimental literature and key techniques in molecular biology. It includes a laboratory component for experience with bioinformatics, basic DNA manipulations, and gene expression analysis. Prerequisites: Biology 43 and Chemistry 14 (or 29) or both semesters of the AISS sequence. Priority will be given to Molecular Biology majors. Laboratory fee $50. One-half course credit. Offered every year.
