Wolf A survey of late antique and medieval Mediterranean history that explores the close ties between Latin, Greek, and Arabic peoples who were the heirs to the Roman Empire. Principal themes: 1) the interactions between these three cultures; 2) the efforts on the part of Christians, Muslims, and Jews to reconcile their religious traditions with the Greco-Roman legacy.
