Charlop A study of selected psychological problems and issues prevalent in society. An analysis of problems, possible causes, relevant psychological literature, and possible solutions, as well as current public policy. Addresses problems such as drug abuse, gangs, child abuse, teenage pregnancy, AIDS, homelessness and the effects of TV. Prerequisites: one course in psychology and permission of instructor.
