Explores topics such as psychological testimony about insanity, competency to stand trial, child custody decision-making, guardianship, future dangerousness, and civil commitment. Legal standards regarding psychology expert testimony, and policy implications of these legal standards will be discussed. Prerequisite: one course in psychology. Offered every year.
