Lamkin The study, through lecture, discussion, rehearsal, and performance, of styles and techniques appropriate for the historically accurate performance of instrumental works intended for the orchestra. Repertoire will include works from the mid-18th century to the present with special emphasis on the classical and romantic periods. Class enrollment permitted only after successful audition. One-half course credit. Offered every semester.
