M. Kim This course is designed to help students improve Korean language proficiency through extensive reading and discussions of a variety of texts, including short stories, poetry, essays, and newspaper articles. Reading and discussion topics are selected to extend students' understanding of Korean society and culture. Emphasis is also placed on writing critical essays in Korean. Prerequisite: Korean 44 or equivalent. Offered every other year.
