Description:
Aitel Since the 1950s the Algerian war and its consequences have been significant for the development of French culture and society. In this course we will investigate the ways the Algerian war has mediated and possibly shaped debates in literature, films, philosophy, and cultural life since the beginning of the war (including the events of May 1968 in Paris) until today.
