The course is detailed in the anatomy and physiology of the respiratory therapy system. Emphasis is placed on the interaction of systems that occurs during gas exchange in the renal system and acid base balance. The structure and function of the chest cage, mechanics of breathing, and control of respiration are also included. Three hours lecture. Course fee required.
