This is a beginning medical transcription course designed to provide students with a working knowledge of the transcription of medical reports from dictated tapes. The students will complete inpatient and outpatient reports dealing with ten different specialty areas. Students should be proficient in keyboarding and have a working knowledge of transcription equipment before beginning this course. Prerequisites: OT 11603, OT 13302, and OT 14302. Two hours lecture, two hours lab. Course fee required. Spring
