The development of skills in writing, aural recognition, and performance of intervals, scales, rhythms, melodies, and harmonies through sightsinging, drills, and dictation. Diatonic melodic dictation, seventh chords, and basic harmonic progressions are emphasized. Two hours class, one hour lab. Prerequisite: MUS 10302. To be taken concurrently with MUS 12203. Spring.
