The development of skills in writing, aural recognition, and performance of intervals, scales, rhythms, melodies, and harmonies through sight-singing, drills, and diction. Basic interval and rhythmic identification, and major and minor triads are emphasized. Two hours class, one hour lab. Prerequisite: MUS 10703 or by permission of the instructor. To be taken concurrently with MUS 12103. Fall.
