Topics include: introductory probability; conditional probability; combinatorics; random variables; expected value; discrete probability distributions (binomial, geometric, hyper-geometric, Poisson); graphical representations of data; measures of central tendency, variation, and relative standing; and normal curve probabilities. Prerequisite: A grade of C or better in MTH 11403 or equivalent skill level as indicated by score obtained on mathematics placement examination. Course fee required. Fall
