This course is the beginning instruction in timpani, snare drum, and mallet instruments. Students also study techniques for playing percussion instruments common to the general music class. Classroom teaching strategies are also discussed. Possible rental fee required. Prerequisite: MUS 12103 or permission of the instructor. Course fee required. Spring 2011.
