The second part of a two-part series in studying the use of diagnostic medical sonography as it relates to the vascular system with particular attention to the venous system. Duplex, pulsed and continuous wave Doppler velocimetry of peripheral and intra-extra-cranial systems will be studied along with plethysmography testing. This course will discuss more physiology and pathology of the vascular system not covered in Vascular Sonography I. More scanning procedures and ultrasonic characteristics of the vascular system will be covered. Prerequisite: DMS 28004. Three hour lecture. Spring
