Fundamental ecological principles, and the application and understanding of the principles using organisms in their natural conditions are elements of this course. Identification of species, sampling techniques, and examination of relationships are included. Students are required to do inquiry-based investigations and analysis of data. Contemporary environmental issues are considered. Three hours lecture, four hours lab. Fall.
