The focus of this course is on writing field ethnographies. Students will be asked to collect, and complete analysis of cultural data using the scientific method. Students will also read and interpret ethnographies. This course will facilitate the application of objectivity when studying other cultures. It will also focus on the importance of ethnography for understanding archaeology. Fall (Hocking)
