This course is designed to provide a systematic approach to the physiological, psychological, socio-cultural and developmental assessment of individuals emphasizing findings considered to be within normal limits. The health history is emphasized as a tool for assessing mental and physical status. This course is designed for students with previous health care education, including knowledge of biochemical functions of systems and concepts of normal. This course consists of guided self-study and on-site clinical practicum.Prerequisites : Admitted into RN-BSN program or permission of instructor. Offered: Fall/Spring 3 hrs
