Through individualized instruction, the student will have an introduction to educational concepts in preparation for student teaching. Topics included are goals and objectives, curriculum and course design, development of course syllabi, teaching/learning strategies, use of technology in teaching, basic principles of testing, micro-teaching demonstration, and student and self evaluation. It is recommended that this course be taken in the same semester as DENT-HYG 4680. Offered: Fall semester on-line only. 3 hrs
