The student will apply the principles of public health presented in DENT-HYG 3340 to community field experiences. The service learning format will allow students the opportunity to assess a target population, as well as plan, implement and evaluate appropriate programs. Students will also apply the theories and skills of communication and education while preparing and presenting oral health education programs for various population groups.
