The course develops the theoretical framework necessary for a systematic approach to portfolio management. Content includes consideration of investment objectives, measurement of risk and returns, alternative uses of invested funds, analysis of securities markets, and the techniques of security analysis. Students will have an opportunity for the creation and management of an investment portfolio. Prerequisite: FIN 325 or BUS-ADM 325 3 hrs
