The modeling of business decisions in operations, finance and marketing, and the analysis of models using optimization, computer simulation, and decision theory. Modeling and analysis are conducted using the medium of a computer spreadsheet. The course focuses on the creation, critical evaluation, and improvement of models, as well as written and oral communication of analysis and conclusions. Prerequisites: MATH 160 or equivalent, BIS 202 and BDS 308. Offered: Every semester 3 hrs
