This course is designed to afford the student with an overview of important global and regional challenges associated with the emerging 21st century. Hence, there are three objectives: (1) gain an understanding of the facts and complexities of the selected issues within the framework of globilization; (2) describe and explain difficulties in formulating political/ policy consensus aimed at resolving these issues; (3) considering both the factual complexities and difficulties in formulating policy; identify future trends related to major global challenges. 4 hrs
