Five weeks of preparatory training at Fort Knox, Kentucky. Travel pay and salary stipend provided through Military Science Department. The student is not obligated to any military service as a result of attending Basic Camp. Camp graduates are eligible to enroll in advanced military science courses and may be considered for a commission as a second lieutenant in the U. S. Army, Army Reserves or National Guard. Students are also eligible to compete for a full-tuition two-year scholarships. All College of Arts and Sciences students who complete this course can receive Physical Education credit. 3 hrs
