(Formerly ENGLISH 220). A course in expository writing for the student with superior writing preparation and ability. The work of the course will include readings on the nature of language, the writing of frequent short essays and a long paper. Admittance by consent of the instructor. (NOTE: Students may not receive credit for more than one of the following: ENGLISH 305, ENGLISH 306,ENGLISH 403). Prerequisites: ENGLISH 110, ENGLISH 225, and successful completion of the WEPT.
