Philosophy of biology is one of the fastest-growing areas of philosophy of science. Course gives advanced seniors an overview of many diverse topics currently under discussion in modern philosophy and biology and provides a foundation for further research, regardless of previous experience with the biological sciences. Students cannot receive credit for this course and course 290F. Prerequisite(s): two from courses 91, 93, and 94. Enrollment restricted to juniors and seniors. Enrollment limited to 15.
