Covers the design and use of various computer graphics programs for painting, drawing, computer-aided design, modeling, and animation. Students create graphical images using available software and design programs. Exposure to peripherals such as mice, laser printers, and possibly video and experimental peripherals. Use of SGI graphics workstations. Includes discussion of computer art and its development over time, and includes slides and videos of computer graphics.
