Complements course 161, gaining additional competence with a number of important software development tools and techniques. Included are Visualization Toolkit (vtk) and Insight Toolkit (ITK); C, OpenGL, and FLTK programs utilizing visualization techniques of isosurfacing, transfer function, volumetric rendering, streamlines visualization; video capture for facial animation and pose estimation, group and behavioral animations.
