An exploration of the video medium including production using the digital video format. Digital video cameras will be used to produce digital source material to be manipulated in a non-linear digital editing system. Image manipulation, effects, and editing will be explored. A variety of video structures, theories, concepts, and forms will be examined through production, discussions, and viewing students' and artists' work. Prerequisite(s): course 21 or 22 or 23 or 80F or 118, or by permission of instructor. Enrollment restricted to art majors. Enrollment limited to 18. May be repeated for credit.
