This course is an introduction to basic manual drafting skills. This course covers the use of drafting equipment, theories of orthographic projections and annotations, text treatments, projection techniques, sectional and auxiliary views, and detailed dimensioning practices as employed in industry. Geometric problem-solving modules are presented throughout the course. All applications are in accordance with American national Standards Institute's (ANSI) drafting standards.
