This course introduces 3-D design and model making, basic principles of design and construction techniques are presented. Topics include viewer-object interaction, the idea of form as function, and building methods. Students learn to translate a flat drawing of an object into a three-dimensional model. Students explore a variety of building materials and construction techniques. ( Prerequisite: TEC 101)
