This course is a continuation of TEC 101 (Manual Drafting). Included will be instruction in the drafting theory of mechanical components, piping and electrical drawings. Students will become familiar with component part catalog use, axonometric projection, and geometric tolerances. Emphasis will be placed on drawing details, subassemblies, and assemblies. This course is about drafting as a tool of technical communication and for solving graphical problems, increasing the development of basic manual drafting skills, visualization, and solution of spatial problems.
