This course focuses on the utilization process of clients with alterations in oxygen, tissue perfusion and hemodynamics. Students will gain knowledge of the cardio-vascular and hemodynamic needs of clients. Emphasis will be on prevention, management of care, and treatment modalities. The application of oxygenation and perfusion principles to burn clients will also be addressed. ( Prerequisites: NUR 122 & NUR 123)
